Suggestive of the sky at dusk, the reassuring qualities of Classic Blue offer the promise of protection; highlighting our desire for a dependable and stable foundation from which to build. 千呼萬喚中，Pantone終於發表了2020年的年度色：19-4052 Classic Blue (經典藍)，這個自信且優雅的色彩。

冷靜，信心及對萬物的連結感，是今年Pantone 年度色的主軸。在邁向更加未知的未來步伐中，人們有時候會希望能夠在更穩固的基礎上有些依靠。
相較起其他顏色，如同天空以及海洋的藍色一向帶給人們平靜以及安寧的知覺，在快速的社會行進中可以有自己喘一口氣的天地。

Pantone 的色彩研究所總監 Leatrice Eiseman 同時強調，經典藍除了給人一種安心的庇護感外，這樣無垠的一片藍更能激發人們對未來的思維更加開闊，
而當我們寬廣了視野，便能跟世界以及科技有著更多連結，也更能敞開心胸面對多變的每個明天。
